”Can You Read My Mind” is the love theme from the 1978 film Superman, which was Maureen McGovern's last movie theme to chart. She made a name for herself in 1973 with "The Morning After" from The Poseidon Adventure; and in 1974 with "We May Never Love This Way Again" from The Towering Inferno. Both of those won Oscars for Best Song From A Movie.
Barbara dreamed of being a flight attendant as a child. It wasn’t just a profession. It was her love. It was her passion in life. She belonged to the sky.
Can you you read her mind? What would Barbara have said in her final moments to loved ones if she had the chance to say goodbye? “I’m on my flight. It’s been highjacked. Things are not looking good. I just want to say how much I love you.” That’s what I imagine she would say if she had the chance.
Words are hard to come by in a moment of crisis except for these words: I Love You
