Andrew Phillips '80
Earns MBA from Hope International University
This will be Andrew's second Master's Degree. Andrew currently runs his own Six Sigma consulting business helping businesses achieve the Six Sigma standard.
Andrew comes from a whole family of Leuzinger Alumni: his father John 1949, mother Mary 1953, and his sister Laura 1978. In 1985, he graduated from Pacific Christian College with a degree in Preaching. And in 1989, he recieved a Masters of Divinity degree with an emphasis in Christian Ministries. He attended El Camino College in Torrance, CA from 1980 to 1982, and Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA in 1985.
Over the years, he has worked as a preacher, hospital chaplain, drug rehab counselor, and as a computer programmer for various companies in the southeast. While working for SITA (a provider of global information and telecommunication solutions for the air transport industry), he wrote a program for electronic visas in Malaysia and a frequent flyer program for Aeroflot (the Russian airline). For the past few years, Andrew has been working at process management using Six Sigma (a process management methodology) and CMMI (process integration) for several companies in the Atlanta, GA area.
Andrew and his lovely wife Gina of 19 years (a native Georgian), their son Chris (16), daughters Hannah (12) and Monica (9), and the family dog "Brandy" reside in Suwanee, GA. Frank is very involved in his church and the local Chamber of Commerce.
