12-26-2008 - New Year's Day 2009
When the clock strikes twelve on December 31st, people all over the world will cheer and wish each other a very Happy New Year. The day symbolizes the beginning of a better tomorrow.
Pop the champagne, pour the wine, celebrate with spirits. But if drinking and driving is involved on New Year’s Eve, it is likely to end in either an arrest or an accident.
We want to remind anyone planning on drinking on New Year’s Eve to not drive. Make an arrangement to have a designated driver with you or have someone drive you home. Avoid an embarrassing arrest. Avoid an accident that could result in an injury or fatality. Think before you drink.
